The only thing off here is that Brandon didn’t know that Cinemark Theatres are, by corporate policy, a gun free zone and CCW is prohibited in their theatres.
Yeah...I'm going to tell them I'm carrying.
Even where legal, I imagine open-carry would draw undue attention...
CineMark is welcome to have their corporate policy, along with their signs, but I firmly believe in “concealed means concealed”. In many states, a sign posting means nothing as regards being illegal to carry on the posted property. If spotted, they can ask you to leave and you should immediately do so after getting your refund.
I also fully endorse the “No guns = No $$$$” and practice it often. However, if the SO wants to go to a specific show at a posted theater then the concealed rule goes into effect. Happy wife = happy life!!
If it’s concealed who’s to know....
If I have to go in to a place with a no guns sign I ignore the sign.
Both my gun and I are safer together than we are apart.
Plus in CO all they can do is ask you to leave. Here in MN if they find out it’s a small (25 bucks?) fine.
I don't want to see a movie where the only people with guns are criminals and killers... If they ban guns, they've banned me.
