I carry this one for work..
It’ll blind ya if you happen to point it at your eyes..
I bought the combo listed on the page through my Mac Tools dealer.. I paid more than amazon prices for it but it is worth every penny.. The beam cuts through anything and rechargeable batteries is a huge plus. Mine charges via 110 volt or 12 volts.
It’s also got good weight to it. I am sure if I hit someone over the head with it hard enough they’ed go down for the count and the light would continue to work.
I accidently left mine in the suspension of a XJ12 I was working on. Set the car down on it. Dented the body of the light but it still works just fine :)
This is the one I carry.
It claims 900 lumen but I compare to my Fenix TK35 and it’s not quite as bright as the Fenix.
I carried the Surefire Z2 for a while, then switched to a Guidegear rechargable with 200 lumens.
For the money, the Fenix TK35 is the best hand-held illumination tool out there. It has four settings from 40 lumens to 860 lumens, with a tactical strobe and an s.o.s. strobe at the push of a button.
Actually a slimmer one will work better as a yawara stick AKA bonebreaker). A little martial arts training will show you how to EASILY use a slim flashlight (2 AA's) or Sharpy pen as a deadly weapon. I carry my slim flashlight in my computer bag whenever I fly. TSA doesn't even blink at it.
