An officer-involved shooting in this Orange County city that left an unarmed man dead and led to a violent clash between witnesses and police has stirred anger for a second night.
Protesters gathered near the shooting scene Sunday night and expressed their outrage by setting fire to a Dumpster and moving it into the street numerous times as police monitored the scene from a helicopter.
The tense scene followed a day of protest where a crowd stormed the Anaheim Police headquarters' lobby as the police chief prepared to hold a news conference to discuss the case.
The protesters chanted "no justice, no peace" and "cops, pigs, murderers" as officers stood by and watched.

I notice they didn’t shoot the police dog who attacked the innocent bystanders. I guess only the cops count these days.
Sounds like mexico to me...
Sounds like one more step down the road to civil unrest, race riots, martial law, cancelled elections and dictatorship to me.
The OWS types in Europe have this down pat. They prepare the dumpsters in advance. This is done by “throwing away” several cardboard boxes followed by a gallon of diesel fuel followed by two old automobile tires. Then at the right time, one of the OWS pukes “disposes” a lit road flare in the prepared dumpster. How was he to know?
“Dunn said the dog accidentally got out of a patrol car.”
Hmmm, and proceeded to attack people without being commanded to do so.
Looked like they had some trouble as well getting the dog to stop.
This implies that someone is moving it out of the street numerous times. Were they having a tug of war using a flaming dumpster? Sounds fun!
Change ‘protesters’ to looters, drunks, and assholes who should be shot and you have a good headline.
They are merely warming up in the event that Obama is thrown out of office.

The problem here is they have an awful lot of video and none of it looks good for the cops.
Now, don't get me wrong, those cops are undoubtedly totally innocent, and the dead guy must have hidden his firearms just seconds before he got shot, and the cops didn't really shoot him or anything, then when the dogs were set loose on the crowd of people which included women and children (who had not apparently understood this would happen), that was just another faux police riot done in a Hollywood studio.
And you imagine what about Mexico? Listen to the accents.
I doubt a cop has ever drawn his gun in my neighborhood.
It's all residential ~ well tended, cut lawns, bushes, everything nice and neat ~ just to the North there's a small shopping center where you could presumably find a dumpster ~ and those things catch fire all the time everywhere ~ particularly on weekends when there are no scheduled pickups.
I do not know anything about adjoining neighborhoods, but all that seems to have happened here is the cops saw a 'suspect'. He ran. The cops shot him.
So, the claim is he was unarmed, the cops turned their dogs loose on a woman with her baby (Film at 11:00 no sh-t!) then the cops fired rubber bullets at the neighbors gathered to watch.
I guess a sort of panic ensued.
About that time I'd imagine you and I would be finding some dumpsters to barricade each end of the street to keep out more cops.
There were a dozen or more cops parked there all night last night ~ like maybe they were waiting on the warrants to do a house to house search or something ~
Guns were drawn ~ all a day late though.
Remember, when seconds count the cops are but minutes away.

“He’s Still Alive!” Video Emerges of Immediate Aftermath of Anaheim Police Killing of Manuel Diaz
http://blogs.ocweekly.com/navelgazing/2012/07/manuel_diaz_anaheim_police.php
The source (who requested anonymity) was on the scene, and audio from the video confirms what eyewitness accounts have confirmed but which police refuse to do: that Diaz was shot in the head.
The most harrowing part of the video, however, is the fact that Diaz was alive—and police stood there for over three minutes and did nothing. Instead, they seem more concerned with pushing witnesses away from the scene, the better to diminish the video quality of the footage, when they weren’t actively trying to block the source from recording.
Diaz is visibly twitching at the very beginning of the video. It’s not until about 3:13 into the video that police finally turn over Diaz, whose head is bloodied beyond belief.
