Wasn't Jared Loughner obsessed with dreams as well?

Kids today in general seem to have trouble distinguishing reality from fantasy.

Yes. From the FR archive:

Did "Conscious Dreaming" Cause a Psychotic Break? ("Conscience dreams were a great study" -Loughner)

Yup. And I'm guessing Holmes' propensity for a rich fantasy life will serve him well in solitary.

Many kids' lives are dominated by projected images on television, movies, video games, computers and smart phones.

Over time technology has allowed the images to be made more intense and impactful upon the consciousness.

I wonder what percent of the average kid's life is spent interacting with real people and situations around them versus having their attention occupied with images.

Do you really think these two psychos represent mine and fellow FReepers' children?
