This business about "the most important thing is to be true to yourself" is a bit of nonsense, though. Everyone has some sound healthy tendencies, and some pahetically disordered tendencies. To "be true to" your disordered tendencies is a bad idea.
I take it she's pretty young. She's probably no worse --- quite possibly a lot better ---than I was at that age. I wish her the best.

I judge yours to be an impressive post Mrs Don-o. You are obviously a very intelligent lady. I agree with your comments about judgements. A very important use of our intellect is to make judgements about right/wrong; good/evil; wise/unwise courses of action.
