I doubt the man with the rings in his lips was a Republican voter.
You never know. I once worked with a real Goth-type girl. Rings in her lips, nose, and ears. She was one of the most politically conservative people I have ever met.
You’d be surprised. There aren’t many ways left to be a counterculture rebel, but one of them in heavily leftist areas is to buck the liberal norms politically. You might not recognize the variety of political not-liberal or even be disturbed by it, but they’re there, particularly among the males. A lot of them are the die-hard young Paul supporters.
I know numerous people with these piercing and they are very conservative. A friend of the family has a son in the US Army-4-5 tours so far and he is covered in head to toe tat's and is the nicest guy in the world and would literally give the shirt of his back if you needed it.
I stopped judging people because you can't tell unless you talk with them.
