There is also the argument that allowing guns in the theater might have saved lives and other shot victims. Plus, no gun controls were effective in the bomb filled apartment the shooter left to be found. It was rigged to blow and kill as many as possible.
Actually (using a different animal analogy) It's more like trying to herd the pigs and cattle back out of the cornfield.

This story has been floating about all weekend.
Let me provide some more “rumors” about this guy, as is my wont.
-when he got to jail he was spitting on guards passing by, yelling that he was The Joker. This has believability because hey, the guards are under no obligation not to talk. It’s evident that they’re trying desperately to hide something about this guy.
-he belonged to some kind of online sex club, put up ad for a guy and a girl to join him for some fun. I saw the ad....but you know, these things can be photoshopped by some weizenheimer on the Internet....but I keep hearing it so I label it rumor and throw it out there.
-the thing about something called the “Black OWS Movement”...an organization I never heard of. But it’s out there. THIS, if true, and I really, really doubt it, is explosive. This rumor and related graphics I think were created , again by some weizenheimer on the Internet, in response to that blatant action by ABC in naming the perp as a possible Tea Party Member.
Lookit, he’s been planning and executing this thing for many months. Another rumor is that his mother, when notified, was not surprised and said for sure it was her son.
So there’s something known about this guy and yet for this whole weekend we’ve heard nothing.
So why is it being hid.
Anyway....those are my rumors, others welcomed. I do think there’s something very intriguing about this case but I don’t know what.

Youngest is a 6 y/o girl. Her mom is clinging to life in ICU and doesn’t know her daughter has died yet.
As we squabble and debate politics today folks lets remember there are people hurting right now and keep them in our prayers.
From my stay in Canterbury and visit to London in June, I can tell you the British people are pretty much fed up. Lots of shopkeepers and guides made comments about immigration, EU rules, government regulations, etc.
I think the Jubilee reminded them of how they used to be.
One shopkeeper in Cantebury went on and on about the Muslims and how they had made a sewer of London. He went on and on about it, without me asking. Volunteered his opinion on hearing my accent.
A little known part of English history is that they have been known to completely drive out ethnic groups from the island, the Jews most famously in medieval times. I think the only thing stopping them from doing this is world opinion and the fact they don’t have guns. Seriously. (And I am not advocating ethnic cleansing or such, just observing things as they are and past history.)
Put it all together and you may be talking about an occupy philosophy who knows?I wonder if Rush will take this track tomorrow?Should be interesting.
Not sure Rock...PC has most people here scared to death to say anything one way or another.
It is interesting however that stuffy stephey and Brian Ross were first to lay all this on the Tea Party. Now if it does come up that its really the occupy movement which is probably a distinct possibility,far more that the Tea Party, the left will be able to confuse the issue by bringing the Tea Party into the conversation even though its miles away.
I tell you these guys are nothing if not slick.
Got to say this has surfaced in my family amongst the democrat side.
However, I have become immune since the dems have been calling us racists since 1968. I simply laugh and say, “Whatever.”
No question its a real tragedy. I’m all for stopping the next one which means learning all we can about the incident.

Yeah, and this jerk of a president will be shutting down the highway from Denver International Airport, going to Aurora and most likely downtown Denver to visit with his buddies there.
