DENVER – The University of Colorado says shooting suspect James Holmes had a federal grant to study neuroscience.
University spokeswoman Jacque Montgomery said Saturday that Holmes was one of six neuroscience students at the school to get National Institutes of Health grant money. She didn't know how much money he got.
The NIH says the university decides who gets the grants. Criteria for receiving the grant weren't immediately clear.
Montgomery says Holmes took an oral exam at the end of the semester that all students must pass to continue in the program. She says privacy laws prevent the school from releasing his score.

If I remember correctly one of Rahm E’s brothers is connected to NIH. Wonder how connected the family is? Are they contributors? bundlers? Did he get his grant throuhh a pay to play? Just questions?

I’ll bet you whatever the he failed the “orals” and he was dropped from the program. He was BatPoop crazy by that time, about 6-8 weeks ago, when he took the orals. The Board saw that and “poof” he was gone!

Well, I wouldn’t go so far as to say if was from Obama per se, but these payments go out all the time (in the trillions, now) for inefficiency, fraud, bat-xxxx craziness of all sorts, and back-scratch-payola. And that is exactly what Obama stands for.
