When I think back to the crowded barracks and living on board ship in the berthing area... I would have a extremely difficult time know that Petty Officer ****** was gay.
It would be as if I as a guy was suddenly put into a berthing area that was all female. Just total overwhelming temptation and that just my over-acting hormones going.
This ‘experiment’ is not going to end well and I expect that overall shipboard morale and readiness is going to plummet. I foresee more ‘man overboard’ incidents and if combat occurs... Well you might see more losses there too and for a myriad of reasons.
I suspect that enlistments will drop and in a few years there will be talk of bringing back the draft.
That's the whole purpose for this crap.
