The point of her speaking would be to promote conservatism.

Supposing that she were able to do that, of what use would that
be to the Romney convention? Wouldn't the Romney folks dislike
and disavow such promotion? So why would they want her to speak.

Look, the RomneyCorps is putting this together.

It's ate-up to be outraged that they didn't invite Palin.

Of course they didn't. Duh.

The use to Romney would be he could pretend to support conservatism in an election year when conservatism gets votes.

But promoting conservatism is primarily useful to conservatism.

You haven’t figured this out yet humble? This was planned out over four years ago. Romney will run as Palin’s VP. When this is announced at the end of the convention the exploding heads, yours and the Dims, will grease their way into the white house. Now wasn’t that special?
