I'm voting to make him as weak as possible. I'm not responsible for what Palin thinks or what she says.
The Rombots and GOP-e flunkies have been suggesting RNC chair for Palin, to get her out of any chance of running for Prez.
There is nothing nonsensical about Palin's speeches- only to those who try very hard to make them nonsensical. There are also no perfect conservative candidates. Give them some time in the LSM spotlight, and they will quickly become non candidates.

You’re not reading what I wrote. Reiterating again for you: Yes, I DO KNOW all those invectives thrown at Reagan. And he shook it off. Palin couldn’t. That’s why I brought up the “Teflon President” phrase. Have you heard anyone say Palin has the same Teflon qualities?

FYI - One of my good friends knew Reagan and we got to spend 30 minutes meeting with him (after he was president). I have a picture of me with Reagan on my wall here in Left-coast California.
If you think Palin was even close to the greatness of Reagan, you’ve got some lessons to learn in life about people and intuition about people. Palin just didn’t have what it takes because she made too many egregious mistakes. Wonderful core values, but shallow attention to details. I think even she realizes that.
I’m sorry we disagree on this, but conservatives should listen to other conservatives’ concerns about who we choose to rally behind.
That said, I most certainly DO want Palin to speak at the Repub Convention (with a carefully scripted teleprompter) because she will skewer Obama.
The thing is, it sounds like he wants her as “an entertaining opening act” to their little RINO Woodstock, not because her politics are more true and constitution oriented than the lot of them could imagine.

Rather than “attacking conservative women,” I’m asserting that ONE female conservative (Palin) has flaws that make her unelectable.
Those are FACTS (didn’t know the “Bush Doctrine,” woefully uninformed about world history/geography/world politics, inarticulate without a teleprompter) that you and a handful of my other conservative friends are simply unwilling to see. That’s not an “attack” so stop trying to play victim.
Yes, Romney’s words on Global Dumbing and TARP are particularly disturbing to me as well, so quit calling me a Rombot. Even more disturbing was his Romneycare. So he’s not my ideal candidate.

We had 8 years of an inarticulate George Bush who was continual fodder for ridicule (he never fought back) so the conservative movement needs someone who can speak on their feet and address a wide range of worldly questions intelligently, not with cutsey/folksy “I’ll get back to ya” -isms. That just doesn’t cut it. It’s a tough world out there going up against Liberal swine media thugs.
So, again, I think she’ll do fantastically well in a scripted (read: teleprompter) speech at the Repub Convention and will indeed rally people against President Narcissus Obeyme.

A) I am not MISLEADING about Palin in my posts here. Just stating FACTS about her and stating my opinion based on those facts. It’s all very simple.
You and I agree on the conservative message, we just don’t agree on the messenger. Just because I school you on the subject that there are MORE EFFECTIVE messengers for the conservative voice than Palin doesn’t mean you have to come out with such vitriol and hate. The Bible teaches us not to hate (and certainly not hate our allies).
B) And no, no, no, you cannot suppose I support installing gay marriage and raising taxes, so give it up. You’re really reaching. I really don’t care what two butt plumbers do in the privacy of their own home and I view their quest for recognition in marriage as motivated by lust for social entitlements (e.g. free stuff like spousal healthcare coverage, etc.).
So don’t go assigning such values to me, merely because of my statements on Palin.

For the record I like Sarah Palin. Yes she was given a poor hand. And she played her cards very poorly if she wanted to be president.
But she doesn’t. Sarah seems to be happy and is prospering doing exactly what she is doing. So I wish her luck. .
