Canada, not the United States, is now the most prosperous nation on earth, with average household net worth surpassing ours by $43,000, or about 13 percent. The number of people on food stamps has grown 50 percent in less than four years. We have more people on food stamps than the entire population of Canada and then some.

Tom Tancredo ran for President in 2008 . The media purposefully ignored him.
He should be president.

Indeed. He was one of the ones I was strongly considering supporting but he dropped out of the race before the GOP primary hit my state.

And replace him with one EQUALLY as bad? Riiiight.
Sorry. But no hope whatsoever until 2016.

If we hold an election in 2016. I’m afraid the people want what they are getting right now. In fact, I expect they will vote for some more of it. Bread and circuses til the barbarians break down the gates—or, rather, waltz across the border.

Far too gloomy on Tancredos part. By calling July 4th no longer worth celebrating, hes surrendering to the left instead of inspiring a way out of their morass. It is now eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die and saying that is all that conservatives now represent.
Then again, Tancredo voted against deterring foreign arms transfers to China (cancels out his vote against permanent normalization of trade relations with them), and voted against keeping the travel ban to Cuba, so he must secretly like communism.

Try 2020 at the earliest. All those people who think that we can get Romney in and then we can replace him in 2016 are completely delusional or they are liars, because if he somehow wins, come 2015 and 2016, those same people are going to say we can't change horses mid-stream or we'll lose and we have to keep on supporting Willard Romney no matter what and therefore Romney must win in 2016.
They'll move the goalposts to 2020, and then in 2020, they'll support the next libtard with an (R) next to his name and tell us the same.

Yes, sad but true. I have to wonder if some of our great American Soldiers still think it’s worth risking their lives for this mess. Big city cops must be harboring some of the same thoughts.

So let ole Uncle Tom sit on the sidelines and grieve. I will join others who want to overcome president downgrade and throw him out office. Poor ole Uncle Tom. Shows his colors when the going gets tough.

Reagan’s vision-America, the shining city on the hill.
Obama’s vision-America, the rusted truck in a ravine
O has got to GO!!

But looking around me on July 4th in 2012, thinking about what America has become, I got the sickening feeling that Independence Day has changed because our country has changed. We are America in name only. We have become a nation of non-Americans. Populated with people that have no historic, emotional, language, ancestral or cultural ties to 4th of July, just a place to get government cheese!!!

Indeed. Especially with the decadence being pushed on the military now and the destruction of our religious liberty everywhere.

The 4’th of July = Big Government Day, and the celebratory extravagance is inversely proportional to our actual freedoms.
