Now that you mention it, I think I have read about that. Life is a very cruel and tough thing. I am afraid many Americans today would starve to death if they were forced to fend for themselves in the real world. And I mean that quite sincerely.

Most wouldn't last 48 hours. We are so dependent on technology, we have no idea how to cope if power went out for any extended period of time, say like during the Blackout of 1977. I remember growing up, we had 4-H Clubs, were kids could get exposed to the basics of farming and agriculture. Do they even have those anymore?
