A shocking and disturbing video taken by an undercover investigator at a pig farm depicts the horrific extent of animal cruelty being practiced at a pork-supply company used by Walmart.

Mercy For Animals released the graphic video which documents the daily animal abuse allegedly taking place at Christensen Farms in Minnesota. The video depicts hundreds of pigs packed into cages so tiny, they can barely move or even turn around. Some of the usually-social animals bite down on the bars just for something to do.

Gee, and unnecessary animal abuse is going on?

They aren't being treated like material things instead of something that is alive that can feel pain?

Much of this is simply trying to squeeze a few extra pennies of profit.

Now that these videos have come out, I am sure you will see many of the precedures be altered to be more humane because of the bad press.

The pig farmers that I know treat their pigs very well. a happy pig gains faster and is healthy so makes more money.

I have been a little nervous about pork ever since a buddy explained that a hog farm was a great place to get rid of a body by feeding it to the pigs.

Great show tonight, Sea Shepherd small boats deployed Kevlar ropes to foul Japanese props. Japanese salvaged 8 ropes. then towed (150 meter) lines aft of two harpoon ships to port and starboard of the Sea Shepherd to guide it away from the whalers mother ship.

As for the real pigs, Domestic or tame you do not want to fall on the ground around a boar or a sow. They will eat you. I always carried a billy when in my uncle’s pig-lot.
