A shocking and disturbing video taken by an undercover investigator at a pig farm depicts the horrific extent of animal cruelty being practiced at a pork-supply company used by Walmart.
Mercy For Animals released the graphic video which documents the daily animal abuse allegedly taking place at Christensen Farms in Minnesota. The video depicts hundreds of pigs packed into cages so tiny, they can barely move or even turn around. Some of the usually-social animals bite down on the bars just for something to do.

You are hurting farmers with your attempted defense of needless cruelty. Farrowing pens are being phased out by other farms that recognize they are not necessary, and there are less cruel ways of killing nonviable piglets and performing minor surgery.
WalMart. Um... pork... ummmmm... BBQ
You oughta see just how cruel wild pigs are to each other.... and other assorted critters.....
I still like ribs but that was a very good post. Thank you.
By stealing another’s pigs?
Here, Porky, look at this:
Yes, they certainly do, but your premise is correct.
What most do not realize is that in case of a collapse or interruption, we would not revert to 19th Century methods, we would end up at 15th century methods after an 80% die off rate.
We simply do not have the skills, experience, or understanding to start at the 19th Century at all.
Excellent book on the reversion to such methods after a collapse
I don’t want to sound inhumane or say that I agree or disagree with you on this subject but you are worried about the cages when the actual animal is about to have its throat cut
And Bacon
I doubt that Christian humans in Egypt, Sudan, and Syria are having as much fun as pet horses and dogs in the US are. Pigs are far down on my concern priority list.
“How you make that logical leap is amazing! Compassion for a helpless animal is not the same as seeking justice for a crime.”
You need to study Europe a bit.
Now I just can’t agree there. I’ve seen waaaaaaaaay too many indications that animals have memory, in some cases even understanding.
But *food* animals...well, I reckon maybe their Maker saw a kindness in making em dumb, and those who raise them for a living know their quirks and tendencies better than anyone else.
I didn’t realize how many sickos we have here.
I thought it was a story worth passing along. I was raised on pork. I have a hard time eating anything that’s treated inhumanly.
“I have a hard time eating anything thats treated inhumanly.”
If you want your food to have been treated like a human, you’ll have to give up eating.
Consider the helpless carrot:

I was raised on a farm. I know pigs very well.
Thank you for saying it better then I could.
He has been ‘photographed’ eating a hotdog, I believe.
They said it was a hotdog. Hmmm
Pain Meat: It's What's For Dinner!
Laz 3:13 And Verily, I command thee, to go out amongst the animals and the fauna, and torture them. Torture the sheep, harass the cows. Pain the horses, beat the rabbits. Waterboard the donkeys, flay the chickens. Spank the monkeys, disembowel the pigs. Selah.
I don’t give a crap about Walmart. It’s part of the story. I can’t change a headline.
The profit is a known fact...conveyor belt food is a known fact.
Humane treatment of all animals killed is what I would like to see.
I’m not part of PETA or animals rights. As a past hunter, I’m far from it.
I just human.
