What makes a person so demented?
Don’t know any details, like probably everyone else here, but if it is true that he called himself ‘The Joker’, he may be schizophrenic. If he’s indeed schizophrenic it will be difficult to find anything about this that makes any sense regarding his motivations etc. Schizophrenia is a sad consequence of abnormal brain chemistry. I’ve seen schizophrenics who genuinely thought that aliens were beaming thoughts into their head, and then became perfectly rationale when medicated. It’s a horrible disease. I’m not saying this is what happened. I’m just responding to the question of how could anyone do this.
