Yep. I pretty much read this board looking for FACTS and skim fast over the comments - 99.99% of the initial ones are worthless.
Back in the day...for example the COlumbia crash, we had FReepers who actually knew things and even one in Texas who actually saw the thing breaking up.

Every bored moron with a Twitter/YouTube/Tumblr/Facebook account feels the need to tell people what they immediately think of anything regardless if it’s remotely true, informed, or coherent. Two examples:

Trayvon Martin
And if it turns out to be wrong? Oh well! They just all slink off and wait for the next thing to mug for.
People need to realize that just because the internet allows the posting of any thought that pops into their head; it doesn't mean it is wise to do so.
