You’ve got to have a targeted “New Server” telethon. I’d kick in a few bucks.

So would I. But not a new server. A standby server that could be swapped out in minutes while the main server is being diagnosed and fixed.

It wouldn't need to have search capabilities, zero bells and whistles, no old threads and posts, just current posts to communicate between the masters and the common folk...

Great idea. Or even maybe a system that would kick-in automatically when the main server faulted.
