To reward them for standing on their own feet... or staring to.. Turned out the unintended consequences of welfare were destructive. Look what those liberal ideas have done to our inner cities...
Incentives to allow dignity and stop dependence are good.... Disability is going to prove to be worse than welfare for the people it traps. I don’t understand democrats - their ‘solutions’ have to do with making them feel good about themselves - not about actually helping the poor or downtrodden.

Democratic politicians have a vested interest in keeping people poor and downtrodden. The more poor there are, the more likely they tend to vote Democrat thus increasing their power.
How about this? To get SSD you must NOT be able to work AT ALL. However, once you get on SSD you’re allowed to earn up to $15,000 a year. Does that make sense?
