Business owners get help:

They also get hinderance which includes competition and it includes needless hinderance from our government.

Businessmen also risk their money and often the money of other investors. The free enterprise system relies on competition. It’s exciting and motivating for the players and the spectators.

Sports is the perfect illustration of the excitement of competition. On the one hand it’s only a game but on the other hand it shows the enormous energizing power of competition.

Government “help” which removes risk in an endeaver also removes the energy needed to produce excellent results. Bureaucrats and politicians handing out taxpayer money at no risk to themselves is not a breeding ground for excellence but rather a breeding ground for corruption.
