Ive been tough on Mitt Romney and leaned hard on his campaign to take the gloves off, get in the fighting spirit, and push back against Obama narratives.
Today in Irwin, Pennsylvania, Romney delivered.
The Right Scoop has both excerpts and full speech video clips.
Watch here.

As I noted on Twitter during the speech earlier this afternoon, Romney impressed with both the substance and the delivery of his rallying cry on behalf of individual achievement and free enterprise. He was energetic and passionate.
I believed in what he was selling: A vision for restoring American greatness and defending success.
Obamas inability to hide his ideological contempt for entrepreneurs & individual success has helped Romney self-actualize.
If he gives this speech with the same zeal and optimism from now until November offering a clear, unapologetic contrast to Barack Obamas bitter politics of resentment, class warfare, and entitlement, Mitt Romney will win.

More praise for Romneys speech here.

Larry Kudlow has maintained for some time that Romney has the potential to be another Reagan. He sees something there. I’m keeping an open mind. Maybe we’re starting to see signs of his potential.
First things first, numbnuts.
Did he? Did he?
I know 12 year olds that are older than you.
I was watching him, too. It looked to me like he was scanning the crowd. I thought he might be security.
Just a guess.
So that’s why we didn’t hear any immediate reaction from the Romney campaign. Instead of a quick jab, they were winding up for a haymaker.
If you subscribe to the very anti-Obama philosophy that everyone has the potential for greatness in them, even this is possible.
Michelle Malkin supports Mitt?
I disagreed with those who compared Romney’s response to McCain as though it was similar. McCain would have responded immediately and poorly and went wherever Obama said he should to do it. Romney enjoyed his weekend then went to work today.
I believed in what he was selling: A vision for restoring American greatness and defending success.- Michelle Malkin
First, I don’t like Romney and I hate Obama’s guts.
Having said that, I found this speech to be quite good. In fact, it may have been his best yet.
BUT, can he be believed? That is a tough wall to get over and I don’t think I am capable.
I will say this, while I don’t trust Romney any further than I could throw my house, he is so much easier to listen to than that White hating- Black muslim-treasonist-country wrecking-pixie faggot-lying sack of excrement-FELON-arrogant- evil- narcissistic dictator dreaming- organized crime leader -bastard son of a communist whore, Barack ‘Insane’ Obama.
President Obama attacks success" is so true....and so anti-American.
He was so passionate, I thought he looked a little verklempt!
Just DAMN! Tell us how you REALLY feel!
LOL... Those are the GOOD things that I say about that craven lickspittle. ;>)
“verklempt”? LOL
Are you going to faint?
“verklempt”? LOL
Are you going to faint?
I disagree with your assessment of Michelle Malkin .
She not a brain dead bot.
You left out “Marxist.” He’s more than just “son of.”
I agree this is a powerful Mitt for our region (Ohio/Pa coal fields). I loved the PASSION he brought to this credo of his core values. It brought tears to my eyes. It almost brought them to Mitt’s eyes too. He sees our country going down the tube the same way we do, and he is not going to leyt it happend. We are not either!
He is opposed by a wannabe gangsta punk who pretends to be a Chicago hard ball player but he fundamentally is a Communist who naively follows the Party line. A useful idiot; steeped in betrayal and hatred of this Country.
Hear, hear....
