His hand written notes are all written by paralegals.

If that’s the case we can expect a continued inability to keep his real thoughts on America and its people to himself.

A senior administration official acknowledged the shift in the president’s style, saying Obama is speaking “more extemporaneously.”

Love it because now we get words of 'wisdom' like this: "If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."

The new “style” makes Obama look exactly like a high school freshman stumbling through speech 1 class. And the extra anger it lets him generate is frightening voters by the millions while writing Romney’s September commercials for him. As has been noted elsewhere, Obama managed to control his anti-American rage in 2008, barely, through the public’s utter unfamiliarity with him and his talent for reading from a script. Now, as he falls from grace, the mask is off. A win-win for us.

the president at times has ad-libbed remarks while playing off his supporters’ reactions

Much to the consternation of his handlers, no doubt.

What's he going to do when he hears the next "YOU LIE"!, without a script?

3 1/2 years of crutch....a lifetime of “assistance”.....financed through as much college as his mind would tolerate....and given the presidency because of political correctness....and now he’s ON HIS OWN?...
ON HIS OWN..is what brought us the now infamous line.”you didn’t make it on your own” if your successful in business.
HE knows the country is waiting for his all too familiar “ah’s”..”errr’s”...”I wanna’s”....”it’s not about meeeee’s”
and the anticipated “I AM’S”...I Don’t’s”....”I will’s”...I I I I I I I I’S

Well that explains the recent increase in stuttering, malformed sentences, ums, ahs and so on.

Not using a teleprompter lets Obama be more spontaneous Socialist on the stump.

A more accurate description.

Of course, when the media ignores his gaffes and bloopers, it’s much easier to do this. Still, I think he will be back on the Tele within 10 days - YouTube will be FULL of ‘extemporaneous remarks’.

A senior administration official acknowledged the shift in the president’s style, saying Obama is speaking “more extemporaneously.”

Was the "you didn't build your business" thing from a teleprompter or extemporaneous? Inquiring minds...

Gotta give him credit. He is VERY inspirational when he tells us how he really feels instead of what his handlers tell him to say.

I'm still thinking about his "If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."

Nothing inspires me quite like a president who says that during election season.

““It seemed as though he couldn’t go anywhere without them, and it made him seem unconfident and robotic in dealing with real people out there,” Berkovitz said.”

Ya think? Obama hasn’t had an original thought since he popped out of ole Stanley.

Why am I picturing the commercial where the mop stalks the woman who has switched to a different brand, only in this case it’s a teleprompter peering after Barrack?

Come back! Why won’t you love me, Obama?

Turning off his teleprompter? What courage!

Washington never did that in 1792. Lincoln never did that in 1864. FDR never did that in 1936. Truman never did that in 1948.

If only JFK's ghostwriter were still around to add another chapter to the book Profiles in Courage.
