I’ll use my house as an analogy to obamas ridiculous comments about “roads, bridges” and other government infrastructure.
If my house is my “business”, my driveway provides me easier, and convenient access to my “business”.
If I had not built my house, my driveway would be a “driveway to nowhere”.
My “business still pays property taxes, ad velorm taxes, etc. I still pay me utilities which helps provide salaries for government employees. I still shop for other goods and services, which keeps the stock boy at the grocery store employed, and the cashier at the place where I buy my gasoline (with all of the fuel taxes) still has a job. Even the guy who paved my driveway pays taxes.
Maintenance on my “business” keeps electricians, plumbers, landscapers, and the pest control guys working, all of whom pay income taxes, too.
My “driveway” only provides a pathway to my “business”, but without the access, the government would be losing a lot of money, fom many different sources.
There was small businesses even before the government was responsible for roads and bridges. Trade was carried on via cow paths and riverboats since America was founded, and beyond.Without businesses to provide goods, services, and JOBS, there could be no government.
Obama is the most galactically, stupid person that ever entered the United States, bar none. The scary part is, his zombies buy into it.
What we have now is a “presidency to nowhere”,
To further the analogy: should you pay to install a driveway, then not build the house - leaving a “driveway to nowhere” - then the paving company should refund your money because you derived no value from the work.
