Welcome Home, Brother, and thank you for your service! Back at your bros!
Marines, eh?
Guess your tour was little more "exiting" than mine in Saigon, (Linguist/Military Intelligence) though I did move around country (debriefing Chieu Hoi/Pows) quite a bit (as well as the occasional foray into Laos and Cambodia) and had my "moments" which used to cause an increase the "pucker factor" which I'm sure you know what I mean. lol
God Bless!

Periods of utter boredom punctuated by moments of great excitement - lots of anxiety in between.
As far as I'm concerned, if you had boots on the ground in 'Nam, you're worthy of great respect. There were no front lines there - even in the so-called "secured areas" you were in danger. And thanks to the media, Academia, and numerous of our politicos, the "conventional wisdom" regarding the Vietnam War is far from the truth. But you know that.
Gotta keep punching - the Leftist Bastards are in the process of taking another victory from us. Damn them all to Hell!
God Bless our Valiant Troops!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
