Polls show Cruz has momentum (Cruz surging...pulled ahead of Dewhurst!)
"For the first time in their long campaign slog, independent polls are showing the so-called movement candidate, tea party favorite Ted Cruz, leading the GOP establishment favorite, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst. They are trying to replace Kay Bailey Hutchison in the U.S. Senate and face off once again in the July 31 runoff election. If less than a million people vote and Cruz wins, hes likely to have coattails, said Mustafa Tameez, a Houston political consultant. Hell pull in a lot of the movement candidates. Cruz has insisted all along that his supporters have the enthusiasm, and a new survey...
Dirty, Lying POS !!
Can anybody confirm, yes or no, if money from the NRSC is supporting dewhirst? Just want to have the ammo, if warranted, next time I get a request for RNC or NRSC money...
I’ve given Cruz money, and I want to give him more, but I’d like to see what he’s doing with what he’s already gotten. I see Dewey’s “Lawyer Ted Cruz” attack ads about 6 times a day, but have yet to see a single ad for Cruz. Not going to send him more money until I know what he’s doing with it.
I quit giving to them 4 years ago!

YouTube is nice, but it doesn’t cost anything to put a video on YouTube. He have anything that actually plays on TV?
We’re in California, and have sent a couple of checks Cruz’s way. We’ll be sending even more. We want to see more Conservatives in Congress.
We don’t send anything to RNC, or any other Republican Party organization anymore. Haven’t for years. We send directly to the candidates of our choice. We decided we will make the choices for where our money goes after seeing the RNC blow it on their establishment cronies.
If you want to help Cruz financially, I would suggest giving some money to the Tea Party Express.
They have been to Texas helping him in the primary, and may go again real soon. (I was there with the TPX actually)
They take a phone bank bus and locals get on board in the Cruz district and make hundreds of phone calls.
They could use your support.
I don’t know how Cruz is using his money, but he has done quite well fund raising.
Dewhurst’s corny TV ads should not convince any savvy Texans to vote for him.
He is his own worst enemy, looking like a Democrat clone at the end of each one. With his one-dimensional character assassination, he really should be part of the Chicago Democrat mafia instead of running for office in Texas.
Another email from TPX:
We Have 16 Days Until The Next Tea Party Challenge!
Dear Friends,
Last week, we reported the good news that according to an internal polling done by the Cruz for Senate campaign, Ted Cruz currently holds a 49%-40% lead over moderate establishment Republican David Dewhurst. There have been a number of subsequent polls that have validated these numbers. It is clear that momentum is on our side, but we can't let up with 16 days to go until this important election.
I can guarantee that this has the Dewhurst campaign and his political establishment backers in a panic and they will respond as they have in the past; by pouring millions of dollars on false attack ads against Ted Cruz. We need to be ready and have the resources to defend Ted Cruz to maintain his lead. Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz needs your support.
The one I saw this morning highlighted Dewhurst’s “double-speak”. It wasn't nasty or anything, just stated the facts.
Thanks. I have thought that maybe he’s just not playing commercials here in the Austin area, conceeding it as Dewey country... “Austin, Texas - RiNO is as far right as we get!”
Seeing some Cruz ads in Tyler. But Dewworst has many more, more the same ol “China” ads. That’s all he’s got.
Dewworst is turned into one of our nastier politicins, reminding us of LBJ. US Senate is one race where we can vote our principle, if dewworts somehow wins the runoff, I will not vote for him in Nov.

It seems to me that RINO Country is where he should spend those campaign $. In Odessa, he's just singin'’ to the choir.
This is getting ugly.
$50 bump from Califonia.
Just Cruz’in! ;o)
Thanks for helping!
I like Cruz. I voted for him.
As we all know it’s not beneath the left to ‘push’ someone they think they can derail either. So let’s keep our ears and eyes on this one.
More dirty tricks, just received this in an email
Lies and Distortions From a Desperate Campaign
Dear Friends,
Earlier today, we brought you the news that the 'business as usual' political establishment is in a panic over the surge of Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz and has dumped $2.5 million into an anti-Cruz SuperPAC to try and take out our candidate with two weeks left in the race.
Using tactics we usually see from the far left, they are using this SuperPAC money to pump out lies and distortions against our conservative candidate hoping that we will not have the money to respond.
The desperate, yet well-financed, campaign of establishment moderate Republican David Dewhurst is FALSELY distorting the facts and accusing Ted Cruz of defending a convicted felon who exploited children and bribed judges in a Pennsylvania prison scandal. The truth is that Ted has nothing to do with the criminal scandal.
