It was pretty obvious that Congress was not in recess when he said they were too.

Anyways, I don't mean he'll try to hide his defeat. That would be impossible.

He'll just simply refuse to step aside. Perhaps blame the Republicans for his defeat. Accuse the winner of being a "felon", claim that illegal tactics were used during the campaign or simply say he's staying because "It's the right thing to do. Too many Americans still suffer as a result of the previous administration. We just simply cannot afford to return to the Bush era"

Think about it. If Obama were to step down on Jan 20th 2013 (if he loses) it would be the first legal move he had made since becoming President almost 4 years ago.
