Like the health care law, FOLKS HAVE MADE UP THEIR MIND ON OBAMA! He will not and cannot get above 42-43% nationally at MOST on election day.
He can’t buy more support, he can’t attack Romney into obliviou.. because as I’ve been trying to tell the naysayers and sky is falling types, this election has, was and always will be about 1 thing.. OBAMA.
Its a referendum on him, and nothing more.. And its a referendum he’s going to lose and lose badly, and democrats down the ticket will be thrown out as well.
The press can spin, Obama and his supporters can buy TRILLIONS in ads, and IT WON’T MATTER!.. Folks made up their mind a long time ago, and nothing is going to change it.
The very notion this guy could win re-election is a flat out lie, and has been from day one. The whole “He’s inevitable”, which was bought by way too many people within Republican circles last year, was laughable.
OBama is, everything the left accused Bush of being, arrogant, incompetent, etc etc etc, and only the leftist kool aid drinkers are going to vote for him, he’s got no shot at winning anything remotely resembling a majority. Come election day, this guy si going to be LUCKY to have 40% of the popular vote.
I think the public has got a good look at Obama the Chicago thug these past few weeks. Since he has no record to run on the only thing left was his sweetness and cool image. That is in tatters now. He just sounds like a punk.
you nailed it on that one- Obama will never match the near 100% support of even blacks this time (yes, amazingly SOME blacks are not stupid sheeple and will vote for ANY black man)
So, he support was MAXED last election- no way will it reach that this time
ANd Romneys’s the only alternative
I agree, Mr. Jay.
The 2010 mid-terms were a referendum on Obama, and he's done nothing but double down on the policies that brought the Dems that complete repudiation, since then.
Worse, Obama has begun to become more overt in his displays of ignorance of and disdain for, capitalism. The private sector has now come to the realization that it has been under attack. The 2010 mid-terms proved that the private sector is numerically superior to those who perceive their bread to be buttered by government, despite Obama's policies.
Liberalism itself may even be in trouble as a result of the Obama presidency. Obama did the one thing liberalism should have been afraid of all along-being put into practice.
You are dreaming. Half the country is on the government teat. They will vote for Obama. Add in fraud + media + porkulus, plus a weak opponent - and this will be a very close election.
I agree. 2010 was a referendum on Obama and the GOP was swept back into control of the House.
Nothing has happened since then to make the voters change their mind. If anything, the sentiment against Obama has increased as two years later, we are still running up huge deficits, the unemployment rate is stuck, porkulus has been shown to be nothing more than a union handout, and Obamacare grows increasingly unpopular.
In 2010, independent voters went GOP in large numbers. Obama needs those voters and I can’t see any way he gets them back. They strategy he’s trying now is to bombard the airwaves with negativity so that the independents just tune out and wash their hands of politics this time around. It’s not going to work because the independents are as angry as conservatives and can’t wait to take their anger out at the polls.
