Recently, there was a columnist who wrote an opinion piece denigrating Rush Limbaugh, and he received so much blowback on it, that he felt compelled to write another column to explain himself.
He had apparently been called a “liberal” and took exception with that. In his rebuttal, he said (a) that he was a conservative, (b) he had voted for Ron Paul in the last two elections, and (c) he thought the current constitution was no longer applicable to today’s problems because it was too “geographically based”.
I have been accosted by glassy-eyed Ron Paul enthusiasts who exclaim loudly (as their spittle flies at you) that only HE understands the Constitution, yet they all seem to have ideas like this guy about the Constitution that fly in the face of their previous declarations. Typical.
