Thanks for thread AB. Mitt has to get off the canvas. The ref is counting him out. Where’s that vim & vigor he used on Perry? Newt? Paul? Cain? Santorum?
They were pubbies. mitt is a liberal.
Right now, Obama is being forced to run negative, and that hurts his popularity numbers, which is really all he has gong for him.
I do believe Romney is going to fight back, and VERY hard, but for now, is keeping his powder dry.
Seriously, how many people are going to be influenced by a heavy-hitting Summer campaign? Not us, we're already decided here (both for and against Romney!). Not with zombie dems and Leftists; they're stuck with Obama.
The vast unwashed will not start following this until the Fall. In the meantime, I do believe people are getting fed up with Obama and his war against the American economy. I hear it everywhere I go. In 2008, he was a phenomenon. Today, the same people who were praising him are slamming him.
I think the campaign hasn't even begun.
Somewhat agree, though I think his campaigning is reaching folks that might not otherwise have an interest at this time, but life has become unbearably miserable for many working poor with fewer options these last 4 years.
Romney could also learn more about criticized the media shilling for Democrats from Newt.

Newt Gingrich blames the press for not reporting how the economy works.
Government just can’t tax and spend enough to solve the Democrat/Keynesian Liquidity problem, and then create enough jobs too...
My guess is that Romney is saving a lot of his firepower until closer to the convention and the announcement of a VP which will be huge. He’s between a rock and a hard place. If he comments on anything the DBM will twist and turn it upside down. My take is that we help him as much a possible right here and on talk radio starting with Rush.
Romney needs to get his head and organization back in the game and get on offense. He has a target rich environment but is allowing himself to be painted and framed by the aggressive Democrat lies.
If he doesn't and is knocked out early, is it too much to ask the cringing GOP Establishment wise up and allow an open floor vote at the GOP Convention? After all, Romney hasn't been officially picked yet and none of the other candidates have "quit". They just suspended their campaigns.
Why go into the final stretch with a thoroughly crippled horse who is sure to lose? It would be a masterstroke to change candidates at the last minute and go on the attack! The Dems would be left holding their deflated Romney bag and our base would be energized!
I sort of thought Romney responded quickly and forcefully to the claims of his lying about leaving Bain as well as the outsourcing of jobs.
I also think Romney has an excellent quick response team and has used it effectively in response to all the attacks made against him.
What would you have him do specifically were you his campaign manager?
The reality is that the polls don't reflect it despite Obama's shrill attacks and the fact that Obama is outspending Romney 3 to 1. This is July. The real race won't begin until after the conventions. Most of the public is not paying attention.
Romney will be outraised in funding by Obama. He needs to husband his money for the real campaign and not take the bait and start bleeding himself dry.
