The point is that Romney doesnt need to, as the issue is a dud with no rabid press assist, in fact with several outlets actually calling O out on it. Also with no major interest from the public.

Obama gets to spend 100 million to make noise to promote a “controversy” that will evaporate. Romney keeps 100 million to use when it is more needed.

Makes for lousy talk radio chatter? Yep, but it makes more practical sense.

I can agree with that. I never expected the liberal media to say “Wait a minute there” about the Bain attacks. I just saw the story about CNN bashing Obama for persisting on Bain. That’s “help unlooked for.”

The objective of the Obama campaign is to define Romney for the American voters. If Romney does not fight back they will have met their objective by late August or September at the latest.
