IIRC - back in the late 1990s, some weenie in the US Army decided they should all wear berets.
And then some other gov't weenie wanted them to be manufactured in Communist China.

Why do they need uniforms?
Why the polo logo, not the rings?

There’s no real difference between the new design and the one you posted other than the hat. Are you saying that a cowboy hat represents the only true American spirit?
I don’t think they need to wear any hat.
Although, these days, with the way the hispandering going on, perhaps they should be wearing sombreros.

if the blue were lightened up considerably...the muslims would call it a Zionist statement and demand it be green.

I won’t wear a shirt with a logo, if they want me to advertise for them, then they should give me the shirt, I shouldn’t pay for it. In this case, it looks liked these are uniforms for the USA PoloTeam. How many people know its a company logo?

IIRC at the 1976 opening ceremonies in Montreal the brains at ABC assumed the US would be arriving in the stadium when the letter U had been reached not realizing the order would be using the French names for countries. Low and behold in comes the US with the sign saying Etats Unis just when ABC had cut to commercials.

The hats are not American, however, and the RL logo is too big.
The hats struck me as classic haute euro-weenie and the logo should be gone. The Olympics are not for product-placement. If Ralphie Lauren wants to advertise he should be a 'proud sponsor' just like everyone else.

"Metrosexual verging on gay!" Well,SWAMPSNIPER, what would you suggest? I suppose something more on the order of a Rambo-style camo look, complete with an ammo belt worn across the chest, I suspect.
These are supposed to look a bit formal. The only thing wrong with them is the giant Polo logo (which would be better if it was maybe something like an Olympic logo); and the berets would not look so corney if they were worn more to the side than flat out on top of the head. Maybe they should just dump the Frenchy berets since they don't look "American" and go with something else.

Why isnt the girl double breasted? She isn't? Is she single- or -triple breasted? I can't tell, because the clothes provide cover.

Wow...now they look like Yalies in the 1930s.
How about a true American look...like pants on the ground?
To: GOYAKLA
I thought the logo on the beanie was the french flag. Sure looks like it. Vertical red-white-blue is FRENCH.
Gayest uniforms-—ever.
Sheesh.
(And made in china. . . )
