But you know the truth is I left in February of 1999 as has been demonstrated time and time again.
_________________________________________________

Hes determined to stick to his story...just the way he rehearsed it..

However it has not been proven...

He never actually SOLD Bain in Feb 1999...

He still owned it...
still had an interest in it...
still made a huge profit from it 199-2002
Still pulled the strings

"Ain’t no conservatives with a chance, though, at least for the Presidential level."

I realize you're a wet behind the ears boot here at FreeRepublic, but I've got a question or 2 for you.

You do realize, I hope, that there are probably fewer than, oh lets say 100 people here who haven't made up their minds on who they're going to vote for (IMO). Romney, 3rd party, Perot, Obama, whoever.

Are you trying to get even reluctant Romney voters to change....to whom? What chance of success do you think you'll have?

And as I asked upthread, who are you voting for?

Why dont YOU explain why YOU are on the same side as Kerry, Soros, Carter, Gore and Clinton
in your support of Mr. RomneyCARE? [ ..... crickets ...]

“You’re a fool. Go ahead and vote to lose both legs and an arm. Not me. And not too many others around here - unless they’re obots or the doggenes dude.”

Yeah? It’s because of this mentality we’ve come into this situation. The problem is bigger than Obozo. Because you guys focused on one man, you didn’t even think about the long term consequences of who you would replace him with.
The herd has chosen Mittens, and goes off living as herd animals do.

Obozo was a battle, and a symbol of the ideology that exists in both major parties now. Instead of fighting that ideology, the GOP focused on the man, since it itself is also part of the culture of tax, spend and corrupt.

And you guys emote and fight as if you are a part of it. Sorry, we aren’t members of the elite CLUB. We’re just going to get hit by it. I just hope you like it! I sure as hell won’t sell my soul on behalf of the GOP though.

I already answered the question. What do you prefer? That I say no evil, speak no evil, and hear no evil about the political party that is screwing us? I have no obligation to do so. I’m not a Republican. I am a conservative. If you don’t like it, I guess you’ll just have to defend and fight for your candidate on your own. As for me, I’ll continue to express my opinion, and if I can get a 100 or so (unlikely) other voters to do so, it’ll be 100 less people who will not be selling their souls to the GOPe. I consider this a good thing.

And by the way, this is really the height of silliness. Don’t you really think so?

I’d vote for a syphilitic camel rather than Obama, so voting for Romney isn’t that much more difficult.

Two words: Tenth Amendment. Massachusetts (RomneyCare) is a state, the USA (ObamaCare) is the federal republic. See the difference?

Rather than rally ‘round Mitt, we should look at this as an opportunity to get a CONSERVATIVE nominated instead of the SOCIALIST Romney. I think that, if we are LOUD about it and act fast, we could replace Willard with an electable, patriotic, constitutionalist.

Socialized medicine, and ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE.

See the difference?

See now, that is what might have been, if all these so- called devoted conservatives hadn’t already caved for Romney like a sink hole and instead stood up and fought like a girl for another nominee.

Count me in the numbers of the no surrender crowd and let the RINOS figure out how to get their socialist elected on a Republican ticket.

If he wins, we’ve still got bumpkus. Guaranteed.

The USA is already fallen when a couple of Marxists are on both ballots. Why participate in the theater of demise over a dang Marxist Republican?

now, look here, he didn't say he still pulled the strings ~ he said he could have if he wanted but he was busy.

This is progress though. Up until today he's let his Mittbots run around saying he had NOTHING TO DO WITH BAIN after some date in 1999. Now he admits he had an OWNERSHIP INTEREST.

This is the way holding this guy's feet to the fire is going to turn out should he be elected ~ first TOTAL DENIAL with Mittbots running about attacking anyone (particularly anyone who's a real Republican or Conservative) who dares suggest THERE"S MORE TO IT THAN THAT.

Then months of parsing the letters A and I ~ and more Mittbot attacks on the innocent who really do know English.

Finally, he'll admit PART A, PART B, and just ignore C even though by then it's clear that IT"S ALL C with no A or B. Same Mittbots running in circles attacking critics and those who ask questions.

Reminds me of trying to deal with a homebuilder who buried a dead horse in the front yard of your new home only to find it turn to ammonia and infiltrate the soil and your basement ~ he denies, denies, denies ~ and finally says 'Hey I fixed your problem" but will he ever admit the problem?

This crowd is all the same ~ no ethics.

Good thing the preachers got to the Yankee traders back in the early 1800s or it'd just be one thing after another wouldn't it.

Edward “Ted” Kennedy was one of the two United States senators from Massachusetts at the time. Of course he's going to be at such a signing ceremony. I take it you've never participated in politics or government, right?

That explains everything. We think the country needs to be saved from Obama. Diogenesis thinks the country needs to be saved from Romney.

Bless his heart.

I don’t blame the electorate any more than I blame Gingrich, Perry, Santorum, Bachmann, and Cain.

They should have been loyal conservatives, put their heads together, been deadly honest about who had the best chance and all backed out and endorsed that one person right at the outset.

They didn’t. They played the “tear each other up” game, and left the field to Romney.

These are experienced political operatives, and they DID know what would result from their squabbles with each other.

My only question is this: Did they do that on purpose or because ego refused to let them make a decision for America rather than for themselves?

That’s why we have to speak up. No surrender. I’m 100% with you on that. Santorum needs to get back in, IMHO.

hmm, 16 people told the RNC they'd enter the presidential race at some point. ONLY THREE were lifelong Conservative Republicans.

12 of the remaining 13 served only to muddy the waters so that Romney's 22% voting strength didn't look all that bad.

Perry and Bachmann are not lifelong Conservative Republicans BTW!
