That's hardly new. In fact, I doubt there is a single Republican public figure that has not been labeled a RINO by someone on FR.
The FR definition of RINO is any Republican who disagrees with you about anything.
I had the same reaction you did. Laughter. Sarah Palin has now been called a rino. Makes the term completely meaningless.
