"I think that Condoleezza Rice would be a wonderful vice president and she certainly has much more experience than our sitting president," former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) said when asked for her reaction to news that Rice is near the top of Romney's list for VP.
Palin is asked by host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren what she thought about Rice being "moderately pro-choice."
Palin tells host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren that she would prefer a pro-life vice presidential candidate, however she says ultimately the power to legislate abortion does not lie with the vice president.

The GOP is already a disappointment to me, but if Romney compromises on a pro-abortion VP, hes in for a ginormous landslide loss.
Ditto that sentiment, I think I saw a thread here a while ago where Romney reiterated that he would choose a Pro Choice VP.
I guess we'll see as I cannot afford another 4 years of the manchurian candidate!
Crap...Pro LIFE!!!!
No, shame on you (a political science professor?) for not having the wisdom to understand that consequences of another failed Republican Presidency -- that is, the country moving to the left with your vote, Republicans losing control of congress and, ultimately, another Democrat taking back the White House. The whole cycle we just went through with Bush will be repeated. And, that is worse than four more years of Obama.
There is but one path to move the nation to the right in the next five years - build a conservative majority in Congress and put someone like Scott Walker in the White House in 2017. A Romney Presidency eliminates any hope for that for at least eight more years. And, that is what I don't believe the country can withstand.
Hey there Skippy, it looks like this “doddering old fool” (that would be me) missed one of your posts.... oops, it’s gone. LOL

Your post #93 was removed before I even noticed it existed. Regardless of what it said, I adamantly disagree and I refuse to tell you why. LOL @ you.
Dang is right, would have loved to meet up for an Ice Tea or something.
At least you missed the humidity, the last two days have been really nasty!
Next time?
One of the better posts on this near dreadful thread. I hope you are a “FLa. Gator” as I’m a gator dad!
Yeah, I bet you think Jim Robinson is closet Democrat that voted for Jimmy Carter and is secretly helping Obama because he won't vote for Romney.
The truth is you're the one willing to abandon conservatism and put a liberal like Romney into office. That makes you either dumber of less conservative than those of refusing to do so.
Saw something really neat at the Bellagio pool: an older woman with a young friend/daughter who was handicapped came out to the pool. The girl was somewhat normal from the waist up but her legs were obviously paralyzed and she was severely atrophied. They were from Belgium. A big guy from Alabama sat next to them and in a jovial way struck up a conversation with their limited English. Previously the girl had maneuvered her wheelchair to the pool and managed to get in herself with some difficulty. When she indicated she was going to the pool, he said, "Well, lemme help ya" and picked her up and gently carried her to the swimming pool where his wife, who had gotten in, took her as he lifted her down.
Can you imagine a Euro doing that?
Go away sonny, you bother me.
Palin can barely stand to say Romney's name.
But, yes, I am more principled of a pro-lifer because I would never support a pro-abortion Republican candidate for VP or any other office. Countless conservatives have condemned Romney for even considering Rice as VP.
Apparently, and oldie in the Rogue Yam mold.
If you think opposing Romney is such a bad thing, why don't you get the guts to take up with JimRob or other principled conservatives here. You don't have the guts, do you?
So here is a question.
Why dont YOU explain why YOU are on the same side as Kerry, Soros, Carter, Gore and Clinton
in your support of Mr. RomneyCARE? [ ..... crickets ...]
Mitt Romney wins much coveted Jimmy Carter endorsement
Gore Praises Romney's 'Climate Protection Plan'
Carville(D):
"It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing.
Romney is an ascendant guy."
Sen. John Kerry (D) to Don Imus on RomneyCARE:
"I like this health care bill".
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D) on RomneyCARE:
"To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."
George Soros Wants Mitt Romney
