Great way to make money, though; I wonder how much Hal Lindsey raked in through purveying nonsense throughout the years. And it doesn’t even matter if you’re a complete failure! You can still sell and have a career.
Would be harmless, but we need people with a genuine understanding of current events, their causes, and possible futures, and nothing impairs that understanding more than desperately trying to shoe-horn everything into apocalyptic fantasies.
