Day care van driver [who ran a red and crashed van full of kids] an illegal immigrant
Houston Chronicle ^ | July 11, 2012 | Laura Weisman

Posted on 07/11/2012 5:15:43 PM PDT by kevcol

A day care employee who police say ran a red light and crashed a van full of kids on Monday is in the country illegally and doesn’t even have a driver’s license, according to investigators, KHOU-TV (Channel 11) is reporting.

Van driver Concepcion Coronado and Alpha Kids Center owner Darryl Freeman are both charged with injury to a child-criminal negligence after a two-vehicle crash that sent 16 children and two adults to the hospital, Harris County sheriff’s deputies said.

A van from the Alpha Kids Center ran a red light about 4 p.m. Monday and was struck by a pickup truck along West Gulf Bank at the West Sam Parkway, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The sheer number of people inside the overloaded van, along with the lack of proper restraints, were among the factors leading to the charges against the driver and the owner, sheriff’s officials said.

“They were using one seat belt for (every) three children. There was really no safety factor there,” said Harris County Sheriff’s deputy Thomas Gilliland.

Here's what you wrote:

BS...In CA it would be extremely unlikely for an illegal alien would be driving a bus full of children from a day care. The illegal in this Houston case didn't even have a freaking driver’s license, according to their investigators.

Here's what I wrote:

It’s so easy to get a license, an SSI card, a green card, a passport anymore...it’s not real funny. If you have the bucks...it’s a done deal, if you know where to look. And believe me....illegal aliens know where to look.

I NEVER said anything about the Texas guy NOT having a DL.

I actually DID read the article...and understood it.

I only...O N L Y..commented on what you said above. I hope you understand.........

Here is what I said, which you edited. lol..

""BS...In CA it would be extremely unlikely for an illegal alien to be driving a bus full of children from a day care. The illegal in this Houston case didn't even have a freaking driver’s license, according to their investigators"".

""The process here in CA when employed working with kids and especially driving them is very strict and fairly intense. And no, most teachers found getting kinky with kids here, had no prior record.""

You edited half my post...

(wow)

In addition, I let ya have what was already posted above....Just for you. Maybe you'll get it.

In fact, school bus driver applicants in CA require both an initial criminal background check and an ongoing criminal record review by the Department of Justice.

Not to mention they need a birth certificate, commercial drivers license, endorsements etc. It's not fool proof, but very strict.

Ya see in CA, the liability for some school putting an illegal alien behind the wheel transporting kids, would be astronomical, and they know it.

Legitimate businesses here in Texas have similar criteria.

I would imagine that there are at least as many illegitimate daycares / schools in Cali as in Texas. This sort of thing goes on in all fifty states and to think it doesn’t is naive.

This one just happened to be in Texas THIS time.

Well, it's nice to know the schools in Texas screen illegal aliens from transporting their kids, especially one's that don't even have a simple drivers license, fraudulent or otherwise, as in this case.

lol..

There it is. That Texas hate prevented you from understanding my post. I knew it would come out before long.

No matter how much you hate Texas it doesn’t stop California from being a failure as a state.

I also guarantee that since California is a sanctuary state there are plenty of illegals driving the wee kiddies. Your corrupt laws and law enforcement simply lie about it.

You're a piece of work...

Ya see #14, in your first cocky reply?

""Yeah, all of the illegal aliens in California are law abiding. Not a single one would ever drive a school bus in the barrio without a license. What with this, the low taxes, tough immigration enforcement and great fiscal management it is surprising that all Texans haven’t moved to California.""

As I said earlier, I never claimed or suggested anything like what you popped off with. Anyone can read back.

Some of you Texas boys are sure thin skinned and in fact turn into real cry babies when ya see something about Texas ya don't like.

Grow a thicker hide cowboy or maybe get a diaper change.

Given your comment, I seriously doubt if you would have entrusted your child to these people.

They interviewed some of the kid’s mom’s on TV this evening. Talk about a bunch of ding-a-lings - Caucasian and Mexicans. None they spoke with appeared very concerned.

One look at Darryl, and I would have run the other way.

Looks like a tranny.

I'm not surprised a bit.

In LA the reporters have to run all over the scene to find someone who speaks English...It's a hoot during live shots. They usually end up interviewing someone who can mumble a few words...."I see, yes, I see car...this car go that way and dis way and made scratching sound, then loud boom boom."

I watched one interview where the reporter geek asked some chicken herder from Mehico, who was wearing a mucho taco uniform from the local slop joint, their name and they had to look down at their name tag and held it out for the reporter to see....I laughed so hard I nearly pee'd myself.

Thank you Government!

I live in a CA community where it’s common to discover aliens driving commercial vehicles. During a six hour period, our enforcement checkpoints routinely find at least a dozen operating all kinds of vehicles without a license. All it takes to recreate that Houston situation is for the operator of one of our multitude of unlicensed day care centers to “hook up” with an alien driver.

As far as immigration holds, the new law prohibits the state’s jails from honoring them unless the individual has a felony conviction. In her case, she’d be able to bail out and disappear. Given that a high percentage of illegals who are released on a promise to appear never show up, I think the possibility that any illegal in a similar situation would show up for trial is slim.

By the way, thanks to another new law, automatically impounding the vehicle of an unlicensed driver is no longer permissible. There’s now an escape clause, and the “immigrant hotline” has done a very good job of making that known.

Yeah, back in the day we had rules and they were routinely enforced, but the sheer workload created by massive numbers of people who don’t comply has drastically reduced the chance of being caught.

Our “corrupt” law enforcement isn’t lying about the situation, our corrupt politicians are actively abetting it.

Are you kidding, it was discovered Bush's Homeland Security Chief Chertoff, had people wandering around the inside of his private freaking residence, who were in the country illegally. During war time yet...yuk yuk..

BTW, you might find them driving auto parts trucks or bobtails etc, but not transporting school kids. It could happen, but I can assure you, it's not common regarding school transportation.

Wrong.

See LAPD Chief Charlie Beck among other LEO's aiding and abetting this violent lawlessness.

I think you are confusing drivers of public school busses with private day care busses which is what it was in Houston.

You certainly are a piece of something but it ain’t work.

Your post is also humorous coming from the original crybaby.

Note, hating Texas doesn’t make California suck less. It really just draws attention to the suckiness.

I remember you now...You're the big gov, pro IRS cheerleader.

Recalling how you attempted to twist comments to fit your responses, I decided to take a cursory look at your ego laced long winded wordy profile.

I could not help but immediately notice you referring to cops as "Warriors" as you repeatedly associated cops with "Military soldiers".

You're a very confused individual and hopefully not involved with law enforcement at any level.

Ya mean private school buses in Texas are not regulated to the point where the bus operator can be employed without even a standard drivers license, such as this case in Houston Texas?

No, but the driver was an illegal and cannot legally get a TX DMV license. KLBJ had this as a topic today and a caller - who speaks Spanish fluently - made a statement about illegals getting licenses.

The topic at the time was the photo ID for voting. There were several illegals getting DMV licenses and the clerk also gave them the "motor voter" form. BUT AG holder says there is no voter fraud.

Holder is a lying criminal. What the biggov insiders won't tell ya is they've intentionally undermined and compromised our very electoral process, by allowing in and aiding and abetting a lawless invasion of tens of millions.

Divide the united...Break them down, dilute and subvert their culture and language...All created by government at all levels, so government can create, "solutions".

It's like flooding the country with trillions in counterfeit money...Oh wait...

LOL!

Isn’t it a bit early for you to be drunk?

As to law enforcement, I wouldn’t get involved even to throw your bail.

On my profile page if you were literate you would know that I didn’t and don’t claim to have composed the screeds detailed therein.

You can’t undo stupid but you can sober up boy!
