It's how I feel. It won't matter who who do or don't endorse. You just aren't that powerful; neither am I. However, I admire your stick-to-it-ivness.
Look, some people who won't like Romney will still vote for him. I get that. I get that he's the lessor of two evils, and by a longshot. However, all indications of his former governing indicate it's not a choice for good, just one of the lessor-of-two-evils. Still, I don't begrudge a man or woman for making that choice.
I've often said that, to all appearances, a vote for Romney is a vote for pancreatic cancer, and a vote for Obama is a vote for a bullet to the temple for America. Some people, given that choice, choose to vote for the cancer, because then they can at least get their affairs in order, and tell the people they love that they do.
I am lucky, I don't have that Hobson's Choice. I live in a state that will go Romney no matter what I vote. Ok, so I get to vote my conscious.
But that is a luxury. Others are not so lucky. They will likely have to vote for pancreatic cancer. I don't fault them for that.
Still, it is refreshing that at least ONE MAN is sticking to his conservative guns. I cannot fault you for that, just as I cannot fault those who vote Romney. In fact, I think I admire you for that.
No bulls**t there. It's how I feel.
Please see my above. I think you won’t disagree.
I have reluctantly decided to vote for Romney, but I won’t begrudge anyone who decides to vote their conscience....I wanted to, but I just cannot do it, Obama sickens me too much.
Get Obama out, then we’ll cross that bridge and deal with Romney. At least it gives us a sliver of hope.
I've had freepers ridiculing me for voting for Romeny in NOvember, in Tennessee. This state is one where we do have democrats being sent to congress. This state is one ripe for cheating the down ticket, and even more ripe if the presidential numbers are close because many decide to vote third party because they cannot stomach the liberal Romney. There are dynamics at play that we have not really discussed adequately at Freerepublic. And readers coming here to get the data with explanations need to read discussions ont his topic. I wish someone would post a list of states and districts which willbe counted by the Spanish company. We need to be able to watch those counts very closely.
Well said Laz!
Anyone voting for Mitt-Witt would have had no problem voting for one of the following candidates as opposed to Ronald Reagan in 1980:
George HW Bush <— King Poppy of RINOland.
Howard Baker <— early model RINO
Bob Dole <— his turn didn’t come until ‘96
Lowell Weicker <— early prototype of Romney
Harold Stassen <— yes, he was still running!
And what did the above RINO GOP country club candidates all have in common?
They were all LOSERS, and the only reason GHWB got ONE term of his own was because it was the vote of the electorate for a Reagan Third Term, not because they were in love with Poppy Bush, and everyone knows it.
We just kicked out a RINO in the state senate and put in a Tea Party rep. I like the cancer analogy. We need to be in remission for a while to work on the cure. My opinion.
Thanks Lazz.
