Thanks for your kind reply. Which conservative candidate would you nominate?

Short answer: I don't know.

But I will qualify that as an acknowledgement that the third party candidates have never been properly vetted here. Any time Virgil Goode (Constitution Party) is brought up, or our own EternalVigilance (Tom Hoefling, AIP Party) tries to get a word in edgewise, the message is shouted down by the Republican fanbois... And I suppose the Libertarians have someone nominated by now... These are all options.

I am reasonably sure it will be Goode or Hoefling, one of the two, and leaning toward EV, as he is a friend of mine, who I have known for many years here, and I know his thinking...

But proper vetting must needfully take place - It is too bad that FR can't see fit to do so, at least so that we are informed properly of the options available. We will be told that they should be ignored for lack of name recognition. But the funny part is that FR could give them the recognition that they desperately need... And rightly should, because they are the conservatives in the race.

Yep...because their isn't one. Normal Americans, the ones that don't spend their entire day on FR, don't have a clue. All they know is there will be two candidates....Romney and Obama.....and when they come here to find out more information.....as jimrob said...."ignore all those Google links".....they see threads like this. Well done FReepers, well done.
