Hey, good to see you again!

I don't condemn fair-minded posters either way on the debate over conservative support for Romney, it is a tough question that each of us will have to work throuhg for ourselves. And I think a robust and honest debate on FR is in order.

What I get tired of is the incessant and absurd name-calling over different positions in that debate. Someone who has qualms over Romney is not therefore an Obama supporter, and someone who decides for themselves that Romney probably sucks less than Obama is not a conservative sellout.

It truly shows how bad a choice Romney was - the only question at this point should be how bad Obama will lose. Romney has managed to make it a race. And unfortunately, if Romney wins, the GOP-E will learn nothing from this fiasco, to the contrary, they will be convinced they were right about Romney all along, and will work even harder to sandbag Tea Party principles and candidates.

Thank you for that post. I agree with every word of it.

We need to remember that in just four short months, this difference of opinion will become moot and there will be an opportunity for much greater unity. We just need to get from here to there.

Piece of cake, really.

Those who vociferously campaign against Romney on this site (and there are a number of such folks) want him to lose and are deliberately trying to help bring this about. If Romney loses Obama wins. Thus campaigning against Romney on this site supports Obama. It is a matter of simple logic.

That those who are ABO are selling out their conservative principles is official FR dogma, coming right from the top. For some time it was a bannable offense to say that one was voting for the GOP nominee. Now saying this merely unleashes a swarm of attackers who deride the intellect and character of any who think Obama would be worse for America than Romney and plan to vote accordingly.

These are the facts.
