Well, I for one am not going anywhere – though admittedly I haven’t posted much in the last few months due to time constraints and the demands of family and work, nevertheless I have no intention of leaving FR.

I must emphasize, however, that I will be voting for Romney in November – not because I like him or think he is the best possible candidate, but only because the alternative is unacceptable, and four more years of Obama would harm the nation as a whole so deeply that it may not recover in our lifetimes.

I just wish Romney would show the toughness and the no-holds-barred attitude that he showed to the other Republican candidates in the GOP primaries, and treats Obama to the same killer instinct. I’m cognizant that it’s difficult for a moderate like Romney to emphasize conservative values, which is one reason that Romney was never my choice.

But we have no choice – none. Sitting out this election is a vote for four more years of Obama, and I will not consciously betray my country. I will NOT help Obama win a second term no matter what.

Nice to see you, Victoria. I agree with you. I’m not giving up my conservative credentials, but the fact is there is only one choice on election day.

With Obama, there is 0% chance we will repeal Obamacare. With Obama, there is a 0% chance we get sensible judges on the bench. With Obama, there is a 0% chance that we will have a saner immigration policy.

With Romney, we have above a 0% chance in all those areas. For now, that’s good enough for me.
