I don't even have to mention a candidate by name, and I get jumped for 'helping to elect Obama'.

I said that and now will say this: Principles are like virginity. Once lost they are never gotten back. It matters not the reason why one sells or loses one's principles. It only matters that they are sold or lost.
I have the same view as I did for the 2008 election; I don’t want to vote for Romney but I will anyway because I need a job, and they’re extremely hard to come by with Obama in office. The sooner Obama is out, the better off we’ll all be. Should he succeed in being reelected, who’s to say we’re going to have any more elections in this country?
Lots of us in that boat, Johnny.
I want to be as totally committed to my convictions as you are. I want to say, "I will not settle!" But the truth is I'm a practical kind of girl and I have been given the choice of Obama or Not Obama. There is no other way around it. And standing on my principles and refusing to play is as good as giving Barrack a free pass.
I dream of the day we get to support a real red-blooded conservative American Tea Party candidate. But what am I suppose to do right now? November is 4 months away. Tell me what I can do?
Our great country has cancer. We can beat drums and chant for more Hope and Change. We can get a knife and cut the cancer out. Or we can declare both options stupid and harmful, and refuse to do anything except demand better in the future.
Cutting out the bad parts will be a bloody mess. It will hurt and we will feel like crap. But maybe after all that we can find some real patriots willing to step up and help us heal. I'm a fighter! And I'm voting Romney because Obama/Holder/Napolitano are cancer.
