The report Penn State trustees commissioned Louis Freeh to do into the Jerry Sandusky scandal and whether there was a cover up at the university will be released Thursday.
Former FBI Director Louis Freeh announced today that his report will be published online at 9 a.m., with a press conference at 10 a.m. in Philadelphia.
Trustees hired Freeh in November to conduct the investigation, which they have said would be completely independent and unedited.
According to the announcement today, the Thursday will be the first time anyone outside of the Freeh investigative team "will in any way receive the report, including the Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees and the Special Investigations Task Force."
The report will be online at: www.TheFreehReportonPSU.com.
It will come the day before trustees are meeting at the Worthington Scranton campus Friday for a regularly scheduled meeting.
Penn State spokesman David La Torre said: "We look forward to seeing the report on Thursday and reviewing Judge Freeh's recommendations. The University will provide a response in Scranton on Thursday at a time and location to be announced."

Bulldoze PSU to the ground and then nuke it from orbit to be sure. Seriously, PSU should get the death penalty and not allowed to field a football team for 10 years.
But he still has a record of turning over the report his superior wanted in other cases, in my opinion.
These guys are professional white-washers

Excellent recap of the Freeh years! I remember when critics were urging him to resign as a matter of principle when he failed to speak out on all the Clinton cover ups, his defenders would say “Look, he has 5 children nearing college age. If he doesn’t play along they would destroy any possibility of getting gigs like the sweet deal he has from PSU.”
