From the responses I got on my post on an earlier thread; These “trigger happy’ cops should have waited until the late Ascencion Herrera pulled the weapon and then and only then disarmed him. Either by using Kung-fu(ey) or by shooting the weapon out of his hand. After all that is how Gene and Roy did it.

If Janet Napolitano was in charge - as she was with ICE & the BP when the late BPO Brian Terry came upon the Obama-Holder equipped Mexican drug runners - the cops would have had to 1st fire bean-bags (as Terry had to) and given the thug the chance to fire live rounds 1st.
