Anderson County deputies said that a girl who was shot and killed during a home invasion Sunday night was participating in the crime when she was shot.
The shooting happened at 11:05 p.m. at 506 Burris St.
When deputies arrived at the home, they said they found the victim sitting near a gun and a woman lying on the ground with a bullet wound to the stomach.
The man told deputies that the three people forced him and his girlfriend onto the floor. He said that he was hit in the head with a gun after the group forced their way inside.
Deputies said that the man was held at gunpoint by the girl, while two men ransacked the home. They said that the man tackled the girl, and she was shot in the stomach during a struggle for the gun.

I’m fairly sure that Momma put that video together. Of course she knew what her precious mutant was up to. She probably didn’t care. “Kids will be kids,” or “my daughter is a victim,” and all that jazz.
"Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be burglary accomplices."
A couple of people on that Anderson Independent-Mail article were bemoaning folks being so mean talking about “Dimp” (the girl) because she just made a mistake. Taking a wrong turn off the highway is a mistake. Joining two other people, bashing into somebody’s house, and holding them on the floor at gunpoint isn’t a mistake, it’s a choice. And choices have consequences, sometimes fatal ones.

Agreed. A mistake is doing something you don't intend to do. She fully intended to rob this guy at gunpoint. In this case I think we should call it a "robbery gone right."
