Neighborhood watch does not require personal confrontation.
I repeat: Zimmerman should never have got out of his SUV. Martin could not have laid a hand on him had he not got out.
I repeat: Two dumb asses met in the dark.
Yeah, blame the victim. Gee, maybe Zimmerman shouldn't have gotten out of bed that morning.
Since when is getting out of your vehicle a crime???
Martin could not have laid a hand on him had he not got out.
Ahhhh -- now there's the crime. So that's okay with you??? If someone gets out of their vehicle you are justified in beating the cr*p out of them???
I repeat: Two dumb asses met in the dark.
Make that three -- include yourself.
If Zimmerman could predict the future, I am sure he would not have left his vehicle. Since he couldn’t predict the future, checking out a suspicious character is neither bad judgment or in any way racist.
I have been on both sides of this transaction (checking and being checked out by a local) several times and because neither of us was a hot head or a predator, the conversations always ended with, “y’all have a nice evening.” Not with an assault and a gunshot.
