Not if they are over 18. Spouse can deny all visitors, even parents.

When my father died, he had given his nurse power of attorney (which I believe was forged). I was kicked out of the hospice by police, and when I went to the morgue, kicked out again, and almost arrested when I went to the mortuary (again they called the police). I was not even allowed to have any of his ashes.

Besides, he’s dead - his soul has moved on.
