Here's a little factoid I share with the "sustainable" nutcases I occasionally run into.

If you subdivided Texas into half-acre lots (ignoring lakes, rivers, roads, businesses, etc.), you could give each and every American their own half-acre lot in Texas, and still have plenty left over.

Water is the problem. Was bone dry earlier in the year. We have been getting occasional rain this summer. In fact, today there are lots of scattered rain storms. Once the reservoirs and lakes fill up, will have plenty of room.
