Many states issue free photo IDs to seniors who are no longer able to drive. My Dad had one when he was in his 90s. Why don't these groups pushing for "voting rights" get poor old Jose down to the local court house and get him a photo ID?

Even in Shannon, Todd and Ziebach counties in South Dakota, the three poorest counties in the country I would bet that most of the residents have photo IDs as they are members of Indian tribes and need them to get tribal benefits. The argument that the poor will be disenfranchised if photo IDs are required to vote rings hollow as a photo ID is required in most states to get welfare benefits like food stamps.
