But conservatives complain about them too. We need to stop behaving like a circular firing squad. There are no perfect candidates, only better candidates and Romney is better than Obama.

According the Klein book (The Amateur), Obama rejected Hillary in 2008 because Valerie Jarrett and Michelle didn't want Hillary to have an office there in the White House. The administration is a three-person operation: Obama, Michelle, Valerie. Everyone else is an underling who serves at the pleasure of Valerie Jarrett. No way they will change in 2012. Look at past Vice Presidents who were seen as a drag on the ticket--Spiro Agnew, Dan Quayle. They still weren't replaced. Hillary might bring in some votes but she would drive away others. Anyway Obama knows that Bill tried to get Hillary to run in 2012.

The unemployment rate continues at 8.2 percent, which is the forty-first straight month above 8 percent.

Obama has been in office 42 straight months [including vacations and t-times].

Any wonder several 'journalists' and politicians are using the term new normal to describe several bad numbers -- job creation, unemployment, GDP, etc.? They are trying to head off the negatives as the election approaches.

Unlikely, Obama is simply “one and DONE”.

Of course Romney is better than Obama, but that isn't saying much at all. Obama is one of the most radical leftist in our nation, and every liberal Democrat out there who could possible win the presidency is better than him as well. It's easy to make Romney into something he's not when you are comparing him with Obama.

We were moving in the same wrong direction before Obama was ever even heard of; just at a slower pace. We were living under an unconstitutional federal government that we had proven couldn't be stopped. Obama just stepped it up to an entire new level making the disaster we all knew was coming at some point more inevitable. His actions have caused a greater number of people to finally realize that we are living under a tyrannical government that can't be fixed through federal elections. It's time to do something about it now. Hopefully we have enough support to be successful, but it's getting to the time to find out. Remember we have nothing to lose considering we are living under tyranny right now.

I'm not going to fight tooth and nail to get us back in the same mess we were in before Obama. The federal government is out of control with it's unconstitutional tyranny, and it has been for a long time. We have done all we could within the corrupt system, and it's completely pointless trying to work with this unconstitutional government to make the drastic changes that need to be made.

We will never be able to change our current federal government to be anywhere close to constitutional. It's way too far gone for that ridiculous idea. We have a president making blatant tyrannical decisions anyway he can without having any public support to do it legitimately. It's been done like this for a long time, it's just never been done so obvious and brazenly on such a massive scale like this. We have a supreme court chief justice who basically said he made his decision based on some ridiculous notion that had nothing to do with the constitution. He just surprised everyone with his unconstitutional political activism, but the other liberal judges are just as bad. They can't be dealt with in our unconstitutional system anymore than any of the other obvious unconstitutional tyranny we are enduring can be.

It's time for Conservatives to stop recognizing the authority of the federal government, and start working on electing state governments that aren't afraid to acknowledge, and confront, the federal governments tyranny. All you have to do is take a look at the tyranny our founding fathers endured to understand we are in the same situation now. I will not vote for Romney in a federal election because that does nothing but legitimize the tyrannical entity that would be opposed by our founding fathers. You couldn't solve all these problems electing an extremely conservative president who was willing to do everything he could, because the system is broken beyond repair.

It's time to either accept that you will always live under an unconstitutional tyranny that our founding fathers would not have accepted, or to start looking for alternative ways of achieving our freedom, such as getting states to confront the federal government on obviously unconstitutional mandates. It's time to start ignoring the courts, and everything else when it comes to our unconstitutional government. The most influential Conservatives in the media have basically said we are living under tyranny, but they are still looking at working within our system while admitting their hopelessness. It's time for them to start bringing up new ideas, and openly supporting revolution, while gradually introducing it in the correct time and way.

Many are starting to wonder where/who Romney is.

    Take Off the Gloves, Mitt

Mitt Romney needs to get in Barack Obama's face. For our President with a compliant press and a multitude of minions, confronting the Republican candidate directly is not a necessity. Scurrilous sycophants will act in his stead as proxies with accusations and personal attacks. Mitt has no such luxury. He must transform himself into a latter-day Patton and "attack, attack, attack!" Nothing should be off the table.

“Obama’s Goose is Cooked”

No: Obama has no goose in the pot, silly rabbit.

Obama is a tyrant. He has bypassed the laws of this country with distain, and shows no regard for Congress, the Supreme Court, or We the People. With all the levers of power at his disposal, and the thugs and Bolsheviks of the Left and the Chicago Way as his enforcers, no one dare keep him in check.

He does not honor the limited role of his position. He certainly will not honor the ultimate limitation of a fair election and a peaceful transition of power.

Kudlow, and most others, are talking about what kind of a poker hand Obama holds. They’re all ignoring the reality that Obama’s holding the dealer’s daughter hostage, and he’s hired a dozen professional gun slingers that have infiltrated the crowd in the saloon, and he’s installed his own corrupt sheriff in office, and he did not check his own .45 at the door. He doesn’t care about his hand all that much. He’s not playing the same game everyone else is playing.

There are two possibilities as I see it:

You left out that the Democrats and Republicans are in control and switch ruler ship to con people into thinking that there has been change. Democrats and Republicans hate conservatives and Tea Party. They do not want individual rights they want the power of the government and the fortunes of taxes.

That is a bit of misinformation.

Per the SS Trustee report of May 2011, the increase will be approximately $5 to $10 per year. By 2020 it is expected to be $158, not $248.

Btw, “conservative” and “liberal” are idiotic labels

You can substitute Democrat and Republican for conservative and liberal with the same results. Democrat and republican ideology are quite close when you think about it. Good people go to washington and get turned by the establishment.

Regan was a conservative but there has been little to follow.

It bothers that two of Romnies supporters are Soros and Jimmy Carter.

“....We need a conservative wing in the RINO Party...and that wing must have a convention before the primaries start to pick one candidate to run against the RINO..”

Interesting. Sort of a “pre-primary” nomination process designed exclusively for the conservative electorate...and it would be designed to come up with a single candidate who would pledge to run in every primary all the way to the finish line.

This sounds like an intriguing idea to me, actually, although the “establishment party elites” would fight it tooth and nail.

Which is why it's time to stop recognizing the power of the federal government. It's become a blatantly unconstitutional tyrannical entity that our founding father would never accept or work within, and who gave us the constitutional right to work from outside a tyrannical government to obtain our freedom anyway we can. It's time start planning state by state when it comes to electing people with courage to openly acknowledge our federal government is imposing tyranny on us, and who also have what it takes to confront the federal government on this. States should be planning for Independence from the tyrannical federal government; working together with like minded states, and getting prepared for economic warfare that our feds will impose in whatever way they can.

Once the states start confronting our federal government they must be ready to go all the way. It must be made clear that the federal government cannot impose it's unconstitutional powers on the state unless it's willing to take control of that state with violent force that they are assured will be resisted. Then it's up to the federal government whether to order the the murder of innocent people upholding the Constitution. After that it's up to the individuals in any force ordered to do it. I doubt it would come to actual war, but it has to be made very clear from the beginning that the state will take it that far without hesitation if forces invade them. Letting that be made clear helps from any accidents happening, and lowers the chance of any kind of force being used. They have to know their will be big consequences for giving such orders, or for following them.

I wouldn’t consider myself a Romney hater but I would go so far as to consider myself a Romney disliker.

With that established, I’ve no problem with you posting this article. Hey, even the alleged Romney haters should be happy and hopeful for Romney to right this nation’s ship of state.

Goodness it’s like God Himself handed Romney an opportunity to step up, to become a great figure in American history. For I do believe that history will depict Obama as a strange sort of Manchurian candidate who almost destroyed the nation.

Might not be for 300 years or so until this “correct” assessment finds it way into the history books but I believe it will.

The story almost writes itself....I write fiction myself.

A poor little Richie Rich type of fellow grows up nestled in an economically secure family. I don’t buy this nonsense of Romney being poor, he and Ann broke and washing clothes by hand.

But I don’t believe that Romney had everything handed to him either. His father was President of American Motors and those sorts of jobs pay well.

The family participated in a Christian faith very actively, albeit a curious faith. Still and so he learned the ten commandments and was basically a good person. Could be, early on, he felt he was destined to greatness. Maybe his family encouraged such feelings. This is no way a bad thing. Leaders, it is said, are either born to it (Jesus), ascend to it (I dunno, maybe Abraham) or it is thrust upon them (Dubya, with the 9-11 attacks).

It’s okay for an individual to feel destined to greatness, sometimes they are. So Romney moved where he wanted, used his money wisely to get elected positions he needed, straddled many lines, many say too many damn lines I get this.

Comes the time when McCain useless farts are out of the way and Romney’s turn has come.

We know all about the base not much liking the guy but the situation could not be better for Romney. For the base won’t vote for Obama, maybe a write-in, something, there’d been some damage.

Whatever the reason for voting or not-voting for Romney, America needs right now a leader to accept the mantle to save this country. It’s happened before-one word-Reagan.

It would appear that Romney’s one who ascended into leadership, it was his path in life right along.

Even Romney haters have not a single thing to gain by begrudging Romney success. Goodness knows the writing’s on the wall.

Romney could very well step up and be the real leader that God Blessed America with.

For now, I will vote for him and wish him well.

Another time and place I’ll write about what I think will happen if Romney does NOT become the leader America needs. That speculated result isn’t so bad either.

How risible is it really?

Since Reagan we’ve had GHWB, Bob Dole, GWB, and John McCain as our standard bearers.

This is not a list of conservatives.

That picture says it all! Destruction of free enterprise was Obama’s mission. What I don’t understand is why the Democrats went along with his destructive goal.

Obama is going to sign on to the UN gun Ban Treaty on July 27th,decimating our second ammendment rights

Our Second Amendment rights will remain unaffected unless and until 67 Senators ratify that treaty.

Honestly I'm hoping Obama signs it so that even fewer right wing nutcases (I say that affectionately) stay home on November 6th rather than voting to remove the Kenyan and all other 'Rats.

I doubt this Country is 40% Conservative.

Empty Suit Obama got 63,000,000 People (Idiots) to Vote for him in 2008. That number doesn't jive with what we are being told.

I think it's actually 40% Liberal and 20% Conservative.
