Kevin Madden, a Republican communications expert with long ties to Mitt Romney, will become a more frequent and visible spokesman for the presidential campaign, a source close to the decision said on Friday.
The increased responsibilities for Mr. Madden came in the wake of criticism from nervous Republicans about Mr. Romneys campaign team. The Wall Street Journal said in an editorial that the campaign looks confused in addition to being politically dumb.

I’m so frakin scared..
You do not KNOW that it was Madden. The article says as much.
Romney promotes abject backstabbing scumbags like this, and then actually WANTS my vote? Madden can go burn in hell, where he belongs, for his scurrilous hit-job on Palin. God, I hate these people with a fire-hot passion.
That Mr. RomneyCARE is restoring his prime misogynist saboteur who threw
the election to Obama in 2008
heralds that Mr. RomneyCARE remains nothing but untrustworthy (again).
FLASHBACK:
The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided
to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.
Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off .hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"
"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"
Yes Mitt completed his term as gov, and did such a wonderful job for the people of MA. /s
This is the last straw for the GOPe.
They micturate in women and conservatives faces and call it 'rain'.
I am already committed to never voting for Mittens, so it doesn’t matter to me that he brings aboard this scumbag Madden. Still, I was hoping for a VP pick that could at least keep me interested in following the race. With Madden in Romney’s face, the VP pick will likely end up being some milquetoast squish like Romney.
Pray for America.
Actually, Mr. RomneyCARE, who failed the Mass. economy,
FLED early, to avoid the mess he made from RomneyCARE
and to bring in millions of illegal aliens.
The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006
"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."

Naw, that's not what you are ~ you are a whiner, or maybe a hootany glootany fron-non, or possibly an alien from outerspace ~ so you are not scared.
You should be ~ your master has misled you. He knows he's losing and your vote for him will put Obama in office again.
As opposed to "One Term Mittens"?
That squishy scumbag quit, too. He just hung around a little bit longer so he could be the Father of Obamacare.
The fact is that ineligible Mitt Romney, dog abuser,
is every bit as bad and useless
as Gov. Palin is good and conservative.
Mitt Romney’s campaign team did a pretty good job in the primaries, I guess.
He did win.
I think it’s fine for him to switch gears if decides to, but I would hope it’s not because of what the WSJ or any paper says.
The MSM LIED about IOWA.
Then Mr. ROmneyCARE CHEATED in NH and N. Carolina and FLA.
EVEN WITH CHEATING, Mr. RomneyCARE never got about 30%.
Ineligible Romney:
"I won the $10,000 bet that I could get
Altura to bow to my death panels, BIG-DIG coverup and even RomneyCARE."
If by fall, you mean November, Yeah, I agree with you.
He’s a big November guy.
I agree. Fehrnstrom made a big goof on the tax/penalty thing. No excuse for not checking with the boss on that one.
I’m thinking he will be eased out.
As far as all the Sarah Palin stuff with the other guy, I don’t remember anything about it.
But as Rick Perry said, ‘we all said things in the campaign.’
And they did. As for Palin, she didn’t run, in case anyone has forgotten. Newt said stuff, Santorum said stuff.
All in all, Mitt ran the best primary campaign and I guess he did it with the staff he has.
Some people are just looking for something to criticize.
You registered with FR just this past November, and all your posts are slamming the only person with a chance of beating Obama. That is suspicious.
Well, I voted for Romney in the primaries and, although normally modest, I do not consider myself stupid.
I voted straight Republican ticket but it was in Texas and it was already decided.
When I first looked at the slate the Republicans had I thought it was extraordinarily weak. Rick Perry was the only strong candidate and he was absolutely crucified on this very site.
Bachmann - nice lady but showed her true colors in debates
Cain - nothing whatever to recommend the guy and he had plenty of shady stuff in his past.
Huntsman - why did he run?
Perry - great candidate that nobody liked
Santorum - nobody could stand him and he would have made a horrible candidate.
Newt - loved Newt but he had a loaded gun aimed at his foot at all times.
Romney ended up being the best candidate. Even if it hadn’t been decided by Texas, I think I would have voted for him as the guy most likely to be able to defeat Obama.
And that’s what we need to be concentrating on right now and nothing else.
Please. Anyone exposing Mr. RomneyCARE is authentic.
It is Mr. ROmneyCARE and his Legion of BAckstabbers
who are now far beyond suspicious.
